Funds will be used to support emergency food relief efforts for families and individuals in northern New Jersey

Englewood, NJ (April 14, 2020) – Center for Food Action (CFA) is pleased to announce a charitable contribution from Bramshill Investments, LLC, to help purchase and distribute food to communities impacted by job loss following the arrival of COVID-19.

“Support from community partners like Bramshill Investments, LLC is how we are able to meet the increased demand during this crisis,” said Patricia Espy, Executive Director of Center for Food Action. “This gift will allow us to distribute more than 6,100 meals to area families, children, and individuals.”

“Our firm has been a supporter of CFA for the past seven years”, said Stephen Selver, Bramshill Investments CEO.  “We were inspired in particular with the Snack Pack Program because it does much good for kids in neighborhoods so close to us.  We realize the essential benefit that nutrition brings to kids in their formative years, both mentally and physically.”

Center for Food Action is witnessing a dramatic increase in food assistance requests as more residents are out of work as a result of businesses closing due to the Coronavirus.  Each week hundreds of emergency food packages are distributed through appointment-only, drive-through pickups at CFA’s five area pantries.  As an essential business, Center for Food Action has implemented new appointment-only, drive-up distribution practices to adhere to social distancing policies.
